Study on Antioxidant Property of Syzygium aromaticum (Clove)

This paper is aimed at evaluating the antioxidant properties of Eugenia Caryophyllata (Syzygium aromaticum), 100% aqueous and 20:80% (water alcohol) for hydroethanolic hydromethanolic extracts were prepared as working solutions studies. About 5 different examinations Syzygium aromaticum (Clove) carried out which include total phenolic content, assay, free radical’s DPPH scavenging activity, hydrogen peroxide reducing power was estimated spectrophotometrically by use butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) standard, tocopherol used standard test. Hydromethanolic extract exhibited higher radical activity (62.12%), highest concentration 1000 µg/mL followed (58.80% 48.32% respectively), less observed with high absorbance value in (0.198 ± 0.001 A) also shows (76.99 0.09).
